Corn Off A Cob In A Minute!

We’re getting set for the 2019 Oscars® and this hack is the greatest! The Red Carpet Menu this year is incredible and this hack will save time and effort to get the best ingredient!

You’ll find the rest of my tips and tricks at KitchAnnette 101 Kitchen Hacks.

Corn is excellent. A cob-ful dredged in butter and sprinkled with salt is sooooo good. I always keep frozen niblets on hand but if fresh corn is around, why not use that in dishes? It’s easy to get the corn off a cob when you know how.

You’re gonna dig it!

Equipment

  • Medium sized bowl
  • Sharp knfe

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Place a bowl on a folded kitchen towel to hold it steady and add a folded paper towel inside to secure the cob.
  2. Holding the cob vertically and using a sharp knife, cut down the sides to “free” those niblets from the cob. When you’re done with one, flip the paper towel, and repeat.
