In a small bowl, whisk together paprika, thyme, oregano, cayenne, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt. Set aside.
Fully brush chicken breasts with butter then sprinkle spice mix on both sides, patting it in to secure the spice coating.
Using a large skillet on medium high heat, add chicken breasts. Cook for 5 minutes, turn, and cook for another 5 minutes.
Place skillet in a 375° oven for 30 minutes. The chicken is done when the internal temperature reaches 165°. Remove from oven and place chicken on a cutting board to rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
