Ingredients
  

  • • 1 cup sugar
  • • 1 cup butter
  • • 3 large eggs
  • • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • • 1-1/2 cup flour
  • • 2-1/4 tsp baking powder
  • • 3/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  • 1) Cream sugar and butter. Mix in eggs and vanilla.
  • 2) Incorporate flour, baking powder, and salt until batter is well mixed. Pour into a greased & parchment–lined 9” cake pan.
  • 3) Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and tester comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan, then flip out to fully cool.

Notes

If you choose to use a loaf pan or cupcake pan, adjust bake time accordingly.
